When's my turn??

I have 6 other friends who are pregnant around the same time as me. 2 of them gave birth 2 and 3 weeks ago, 1 of them gave birth this morning, and 1 of them is at the hopsital giving birth as I am typing this post. I am sooooooooooo anxious to know when is my turn!?! One thing that all these 6 friends have in common is that they are all having boys, and mine is the only girl. Isn't that nice to know that she has so many choices already before she is born!

My lucky day

Today I have the honour of having aunty Ting Ting to take some photos for me at this last stage of pregnancy. We took some photos at home and also some at the Zoological park on Caine Road. The last time I went there was more than 20 years ago with my late grandmother popo. Today I was back there again, carrying my baby in me. How I wish that popo was there too with me, teaching me matters with her wisdom. It felt like I could almost hear her talking next to me while I was there. I miss her so dearly so much.
Maxi was kind enough today to offer me a 'treat'. I asked him if I could hold him for a photo and I went and picked him up while he was resting on the carpet, and to our surprise he let me!! Ginn was in shock, couldnt believe what he was seeing and couldnt react immediately until I rushed him to snap some shots of this very special moment. I love my Maxi darling bun bun oh soooo much!

Oh my, what a chub chub........

Today we went for a routine check up, only to find out that she has gained 1 pound (0.45kg) in the past 10 days, which is quite a lot, and we can see it on her cheeks.... All 3 of us (Ginn, the doctor and I) were surprised to see how chubby she is! She was 'normal' last week! Dr. Ng kept laughing and said she is absorbing very well. Then Ginn kept dobbing me in by telling Dr. Ng the weight is probably from all the chocolate and ice cream I had been eating. Well, the most important thing is that she is healthy! Everyone says bigger babies are easier to take care of. I am just very concerned about how I am going to push her out! I really hope she will come out soon before she gets too big. oh darling...

How many more days to go??

Today is 36 weeks and 4 days. Tummy circumference 40.5 inches and I weigh 64kg- a total of 15kg gained since the pregnancy!!!! Am I ever going to loose those extra fat??? I feel like I am carrying a bowling ball with me everywhere. Darling when are you coming out??

The most ideal scenario is~

• Any day soon from now......
  
• Start feeling contraction at 11:30am after I get up
  
• 30-60 mins later the contraction interval of 5 mins
  
• Admit into hospital and already dilated to 8cm
  
• 2nd stage labour within one hour
  
• Baby arrives within 30 mins
  
• Baby is healthy
  
• I am fine from delivery
  
• Ginn is fine from the torture after my delivery

Please pretty please make my dream come true!!!!!
