Mummy is stressed out.......
Just like all babies, Summer can be quite noisy sometimes. When she is crying, mummy doesnt know what to do. Lucky that Ginn is around to help me both physically and mentally. He is such a great daddy, he changes her, washes her, talks to her, and even wakes up in the middle of the night with me to change her diaper and most importantly to mentally support me. I understand this is the time for all of us to learn, but please pray for us that we can learn in an easier way.

Summer's first night at home on 19 April..
Naughty Summer's first night at home was not so much of a pleasant one. She was too attached to mummy and all she wanted to do was to latch on mummy. But after 2 hours of painful time for mummy, mummy had to put Summer in her basket to sleep, which is something Beanie did not agree to. So mummy and daddy had to ignore her cries and finally Bad Summer stop crying after 20 mins and went to sleep. Fingers crossed that the future nights will be some pleasant ones.

We are home!
We are finally home! The experience is amazing so far, sometimes I can't believe I have a daughter! This is so unreal, but it brings me back to reality by looking at this little Lily face. Little beanie has finally met her brothers Nunu and Maxi, but think Maxi is not a fan of her crying! Ginn is helping a lot with the baby and he has already showed that he is an excellent and sweet, caring father, as well as a sensitive, loving husband. I really love my family.

Sorry I'm late mummy
Hi everyone. Ginn here with great news!!!
Lily gave birth to a healthy 3.53kg (7.8lbs) baby girl yesterday afternoon. Both girls are doing really well and will hopefully be able to come home tomorrow.
Here's the rundown of how things went yesterday:
7.00am - Lily wakes up with mild contractions
9.30am - After some breakfast and pep talk with the boys (Maxi and Nunu) we head to Queen Mary hospital.
10.00am - Lily's admitted to the maternity ward and I'm sent away to wait with other expecting fathers.
11.30am - Lily is already 6cm dilated and is wheeled into the labour room.
1.00pm - 8cm dilated now and it's too late for an epidural. Doc says no more gas as it will make delivery more difficult, but Lily managed to get a local anaesthetic to help with the pain. Chopin is playing on her ipod which helps keep her calm.
3.00pm - All the hard work is done and little baby Lai is welcomed into the world. The mid wife throws a pair of gloves and scissors to me and I'm asked to cut the umbilical cord. Freaky!!!
5.30pm - Lily is through recovery, baby has had her injections and 45 min of breastfeeding. Mum and baby are taking a much needed rest and dad's going out to celebrate!
A really good and quick birth by first baby standards. I guess little Summer realised she was late and wanted to make up time!
More photos to come soon

This is an order Beanie!!!!!!
Today I went for a routine check up, and as I expected the Doctor said Beanie is quite big, around 8lb now. And what's more, she has booked me in for an induced labour on 23 April... something that I really dont want... they want to admit me at 9am that day but the actual induction is on 24 Apr in the morning, I dont understand why they want me there for one whole day before hand! Her explanation is "So that you can get used to the environment.'- BUT WHAT FOR???????? I rather spend more time with Maxi and Nunu.....Sigh. So Beanie, mummy is ordering you to arrive before that day, otherwise you are going to get bitten by mummy when you come out!!

No birthday present from Beanie
It is 30 mins to the next day and we doubt Beanie is going to be sharing the same birthday as me. We are desperate to see her and after trying to sweet talk her with no success, Ginn decided to threaten her by drawing her a portrait. We reckon the longer she is staying in her cocoon absorbing the nutrition, the more chub she is going to get. So Beanie, when you see your portrait, I hope you know how chubby you are so you will get out of me!!!!

Any possibility?
It's my birthday tomorrow. Is there any possibility that Beanie will arrive tomorrow? If that is the case, she is not just a gift from God, but a birthday gift from God! To be honest I would rather be relaxed and have a nice dinner with Ginn on my birthday, but Ginn reckons it would be great to have a same birth date with my daughter- at least it is easy for him to remember!

Still hanging on
38.4 weeks and nothing seems to be different, except my belly is bigger and my feet and fingers are more 'HULK' like. I think she is just being too comfy in mummy's belly. But we can't wait to see her and I want to feel 'light' again!!
Funny thing is that it seems like she can interact with you. When I tap her on her butt she will move her arms and legs. Don't know whether I am being paranoid or not but it seems like my belly is rising.... shouldn't it be getting lower and lower?
