I know what I want!

I am not a little baby who knows nothing anymore, I now know what I want and what I really really want. Yesterday when Mummy and I walked pass the goodies shop, I pointed out to the pair of sunglasses that I spotted, and when I was presented with another pair with a different style, I still wanted the ones that I spotted. Mummy can't stop saying 'How come a 16 months old know how to choose?!', oh yeah Mummy, you bet, just like how I will push away the outfits that you want to put on me at the shops.

My glasses can be flipped out for indoor

And flipped in for outdoors!

Just like everyone else, I have my duties around the house. One of them is to push Maxi Gor Gor out from Daddy and Mummy's room every morning. While performing the duties, I will say 'Pushit, pushit.'

Me pushing Gor Gor out

Me opening his door so he can stretch his legs

Today we also went to Myers' house to celebrate Kiva's first birthday! I managed to say 'Appy Birday' to Kiva! It was fun playing with Sky, Kiva and Jing Kiu.

Another conversation with Huge Teletubbies fan Summer

Note: There are four main characters in Teletubbies- Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po.

Summer: (Pointing at TV) Tinky! Tinky!
Mummy: No, Bean Bean no TV now.
Summer: Tinky! Tinky!
Mummy: I don't want to hear you say Tinky now, and stop calling yourself Tinky.
Summer: Yaa Yaa (Laa Laa).
Mummy: (Smiling, found it funny) I don't want to hear Laa Laa neither.
Summer: Marney! (Barney)

What I did on the weekend

What did I do this weekend? I was so happy that Daddy didn't have to go to work on Friday due to the No.9 Typhoon in Hong Kong. I didn't think it was that windy but I did notice the rain outside by saying 'sui sui' while pointing out the window. So I spent the long weekend by eating the homemade cookies that Mummy made, while watching my favourite show-Teletubbies.
Then on Saturday, we attended Lester's 1st birthday party. There was a clown and I got a Snoopy balloon from him! There were also other things to play with like a house and slides!

Happy Birthdays Gong Gong and PoPo!

Bean Bean wishs you both a very Happy Birthday, a healthy and happy year to come! Wish we were there with you to celebrate your birthdays like last year.. But I hope you liked my birthday wishes to you earlier on the phone.

Wearing red to celebrate Gong Gong and PoPo's birthdays

I am excelling in my 'no hands' trick, that I have put aside for a while. This time the prop is a straw, see how I can transport it around 'no hands'.

I wonder how far Mummy can Bean proof this apartment, I have learnt where plugs go but I just haven't figured out how I can put it in there properly.

Beach day

Being in the mood of the Olympics, I guess I should start preparing for the Olympics in 2024. Since the only sport I am learning now is swimming, so I think I will try for the Women's 400M Freestyle.

Today we went to South Beach with the Myers. Last year when we went I was only 6 weeks old, this time I can enjoy the water and the sand.

We were having a walk and I saw the hammock. Like a princess, Daddy swung me by my side.

Playdate with the 'Lau Tim's

Yesterday Mummy's ex-colleague Irene brought her two adorable sons over to play together, they are Tim Hay who is 3 and Tim Tou who I share the same birthday with! They are full of energy and even I had a hard time keeping up! We had a lot of fun!

I try and I try to be good all the time, and yesterday, like every other time when I have guests over, I will try to monitor everyone and keep things in order. The photos below are me in action.

WOW! Scary!!!

Last night at 12:10am, the fire alarm went off at my building. Daddy was still at work. So Mummy called up the management and they said it is from the floor above us and they are going to find out what is wrong. 5 mins later, the alarm is still on and Mummy called again, this time they said the firemen are on their way. Mummy panicked. In Mummy's fastest speed, she packed all the jewelry, watches, money, passport, laptop, handbag, my water and her water. She went crazily dug out Maxi GoGo's travel bag from the bottom of the storage, grabbed another bag and a plastic container to put Nunu GoGo in there, grabbed a hoodie and a pair of socks for me and lastly put on my ergo and woke me up from my sleep. While doing all that Mummy had both TVs on the CCTV which shows what is going on at the front door of the lobby, where Mummy saw people walking out frequently. Mummy ran downstairs with a what felt like a 10kg bag, Nunu's bag, Maxi's bag and me on her front. By the time we were there Daddy was already waiting at the lobby. Luckily it was a false alarm, but it went on for almost an hour! I was so sleepy but I got to play with Maxi and Nunu. When we went home, I tried to ask for some biscuit for supper but no luck..

Us at the lobby at 1am, Mummy was very thirsty and tired. Next to us are Nunu and Maxi, and Mummy's bag full of our important belongings

BTW, Mummy got interviewed! Check out her interview here: http://milkmonsterlaughs.blogspot.com/2008/08/meet-mompreneur-lily-huang.html

See you soon, Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo

My Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo left on Monday and I am missing them a lot. The good thing was that I got to spend a lot of time with them when they were here. I will try to be good and listen to Mummy and Daddy. Can't wait to see you all soon again, please take care of yourselves meanwhile and I will be thinking about you!

Just before we went to the airport. Sad that Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo are leaving
Recently I have this liking for bags. Auntie Smiley got me this nice panda bag, which is much nicer than my Cathay Pacific one! Here is a photo of me digging into my new handbag.
Me creating some nice pieces of art at Baby Buddies today, how much should I charge my buyers?
Chalks are for drawing and eating

At our usual Thursday coffee at IFC today. We are sadly having less and less attendance, I miss my little friends! We had Pia, Ethan, Parker and a surprise guest- NATALIE!!! We miss her so much!
I want to show my friends that I love them by hugging...
and kissing....
Hope Daddy won't see these photos, otherwise he might confine me

I love my Maxi Gogo and I share a lot of my favourite things with him. I will share with him my favourite biscuits, fruits, Mummy and even my new sofa!

Missing Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo

We had a busy day yesterday! Mummy told me we were going to Yumcha with Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo, so I packed my bag and carried it along. Mummy told me Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo are leaving on Tuesday and I am missing them a lot.

Recently I like to sit on the ledge of Mummy and Daddy's bed, so Mummy and Daddy bought me this yesterday! It is very nice, it is a flip out sofa and I can sit and lie and roll on it! Even Maxi likes it so much that he sat on it while I was sleeping!

Then we went to Tai Gong, Gong Gong and Popo's serviced apartment for dinner. I was given 2 medals- I got Bronze for being naughty and Gold for being manipulative!

Crazy mummy

Since I don't get to see Daddy too much during weekdays, I like to talk to him when I get the chance to, I dedicate all my attention to him when I am on the phone with him so I don't miss anything he says!
Hello Daddy, yep, yep, I understand
Several people had been complimenting on my sense of fashion, well, what can I say? This is my outfit for going to play at my club house. What do you think?
Today is the first day of the once in a year event- Baby Expo. Mummy went crazy and bought all these today- she went by herself as well!! I don't know how she managed to carry all these by herself but I am so happy to see all these gifts!!

Today we went to Myer's house to document this special day- the opening of the Beijing Olympics-8 Aug 2008 at 8:08pm! While I was there I spotted this pair of nice sunnies and so I decided to post for some photos.

Doggie Sunday by HKDR

I am so happy! I enjoy spending time with Tai-Gong, Gong Gong and Popo, this night we went out so I got to stay up late!

It was Doggie Sunday yesterday so we went there to play with doggies and had a few drinks!

Drinking Daddy's beer
Drinking Mummy's Pina Colada

Then today we went to Aberadeen Marina Club and had some fun with Esther and Justin. Row, row, row a boat......
